I have a back office computer which runs Windows 2000. It is in network with 4 "point of Sales" PCs.
I see quite a few Software & Hardware avaiable for Windows XP (like Rebit ) but I do not see such for Windows 2000. I actually donot even know how many physical drives I have. I have C drive which shows Capacity 45.1 and free space 27gb, Drive E shows capacity Capacity 149gb and free space 84gb and third drive D shows Capacity 27.2 gb and free space 21.3 . In device manager for Disk Drives I see "Promise Array Scsi Disk Device" Now what I am looking for is a Software & Hardware solution where I can take the image of the C drive and keep it updating automatically. Then when C drive Crashes I can restore the system form this external drive with the help of software on it.

Thanks for expanding on your requirements.

Half of the problem is that Windows 2000 is no longer support by the majority of companies and backward compatibility is no longer guaranteed.

Is the Back Office computer Windows 2000 Server or Professional?

If you can get hold of a copy of Norton Ghost 10.0 then that supports Windows 2000 and can image your entire system to an external HDD or similar, which is a great method to use for DR purposes.

Mainstream support for Windows 2000 product support stopped back in June 2005:

Extended support continues until 13/07/2010 so it won't be long until it is retired completely.

You would be better off upgrading to Windows XP (if you can) as the choices are much greater.

I don't remember if Syncback does the OS, but it works with W2K and is pretty good.
