Everytime a users logs on to a TS, also a "User Documents and Settings\%username%" (with subs) is created on the TS, for each user, although the desktop icon "My Documents" redirects the user to his folder on the fileserver. After the user loggs off, the (empty) folder set is deleted from the TS. Can someone explain to me why this folderset is created on the TS?

"By default, Terminal Services creates a separate temporary folder on the terminal server for each active session that a user maintains on the terminal server. The temporary folder is created on the terminal server in a Temp folder under the users profile folder and is named with the "sessionid." This temporary folder is used to store individual temporary files."
