I want to know, where can i see the last system state backup was performed on my DC.
As there is a warning event id 2089 in the directory service category with source ntds replication/backup of the event viewer saying that your directory partition has not been backup since more than 30 days which is fine & which we can increase or decrease the time period via registry if needed.
In exchange server @ESM it shows the last exchange full backup was done @so and so time and date. What about system state backup/AD...is there any way i could find with in the OS without using any third party tool/appl.????
I'm aware of the eventviewer it logs when you perform any backup, Ntbackup logs and also the ntbackup catlogs as it stores. Apart from this areas where could find.....???

The id which has been used to run back,in this example i used itadmin to take system state backup using ntbackup & path is below to see the logs.
Just one more setting configure view hidden folders.
c:\documents and settings\itadmin(account name)\local settings\Application data\Microsoft\Windows NT\Nbackup\data
