Hi there,
I'm running around 50 websites on a Windows 2000 Advanced Server machine; the sites are in either .NET 1.1 or .NET 2.0.
Although I've made no changes to the machine setup, I've discovered that all of the .NET 2.0 sites are taking around 10 seconds to download each page - a few days ago they would take less than a second per page.
However, the .NET 1.1 sites on the same server, using the same database, are still running really quickly.
I've got no idea how to begin to trace the source of the problem - Task Manager shows CPU percentage is around 20%, and the machine's only using a small percentage of the memory - and the fact that the 1.1 sites are running fine suggests maybe a problem with the 2.0 Framework?
Any ideas please?
Many thanks.
