  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Monitor Power Saving Function

Asked by AFD in Windows 98 Operating System

My Sony MultiScan 100sf monitor has a three step power saving capability.  The first step is called "Suspend" by Sony and provides a blanked screen  but a fast recovery to normal.  The second step is called "Active-Off" by Sony and takes considerably longer to recoveQuestion: I cannot find any combination of settings in the Windows 98 Power Saving utility or in my system BIOS(Latest Award BIOS on the latest ASUS 440BX motherboard) to put the monitor in the first power saving mode which provides the fast recovery to normal.  I can only put it in the second state which requires considerably longer.

Any ideas?
