I heard many times that it is no use to have more than 128MB when running Win98(or less), because it can not address more than 128 MB. A friend of mine is still using Win98 and has 192 MB of RAM. Windows is showing all that amount of RAM (why if it cannot address more than 128?)or other tools showing memory usage and he says he actually felt a slight difference, that might just be his feeling but might also not...
So I don't know what shall I believe, are more than 128 MB with Win98 just useless or are they not ?
I'm very interessted in understanding what Windows is doing with that memory but didn't find anything in net about windows and memory.
