Browse All TopicsMy son says his computer says: You've Got Mail, Goodbye, etc. therefore the AOL sounds are working. When he goes to Hallmark ecards, for example, he doesn't get any sounds from the demos of cards - I do from my computer. I think he may not be getting any sounds once on the internet after AOL. What could be the cause? I checked under Tools/Internet Options/MultiMedia on IE and the sounds had a check in the box. I can't figure it out. Any suggestions? Thanx,Art

The Sounds coming from hallmarks sites are in Flash. It may just be that you need to reinstall Flash 5.0

AOL sounds are just simple wav files stored on the computer. So since those work, I would start by reinstalling flash. Macromedias website has details of how to do this properly at:
