distorted thumnails in web page folder view

My thumbnail previews used to work fine.  I recently started getting a Stimon error during startup. (Windows 98SE)  As soon as this problem started happening the preview images in the web page folder view showed up as very blurry and distorted.  I fixed the Stimon problem per Microsoft's recommendation Q306393, but my thumbnails are still distorted.  How can I fix this?Start Free Trial
