asked on

disable changing internet explorer home page

I need a solution to disable changing home page for internet explorer, when I open some web sites they ask if you want to make it your home page, I need to disable that even if I choose yes.
I would be thankfull if you have idea using windows registry.

You really can't disable it so to speak. Now if you had Win2000 or XP you could because these OS have policies that can be set to limit certain things in IE
You could keep a .reg file with the following info in it on hand and run it when ever the page gets changed.

Registry Editor 4.0

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Start Page"="http://www.YourPag.com/"
