Hey, it worked. I have had this message occasionally, but normally just shutting down from SAFE MODE solves the problem. Today it wasn't letting me get any further. Thanks! Lawman

I keep receiving a stacks overflow message. I have looked at the config.sys and it reads only the following: <br />
Stacks=64,512<br />
Buffers=40<br />
Files=60<br />
<br />
The autoexec.bat file shows a Norton product. <br />
