Microsoft "ras"

I recently installed Windows 98 on my computer. I use a dial up connection, and everytime I try to connect to the internet i get an error message that says i need to install --- Microsoft ras--- . What is Microsoft ras and how do I install it?

   Microsoft ras is Remote Access Service, a commercial collection of software applications designed to help corporations and Internet Service Providers build comprehensive Internet access solutions. It is use with Windows NT. Did you have NT on your computer at one time?

   During logon Windows allows users to optionally connect to a Windows domain using dial-up networking, this tweak can be used to disable that option. Start/Run/Regedit

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.  Value Name: RasDisable
Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value), Value Data: (0 = restriction disabled, 1 = restriction enabled).  

Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called 'RasDisable' and edit the value according to the settings above. Exit your registry, you may need to restart or log out of Windows for the change to take effect.
