keyboard, mouse not detected

thank you all guys for the question

but the problem is still unsolved.



i put in a new battery. with lots of trouble i reinstalled win98 after formatting,as sometimes the mouse
and keyboard would not work. i disabled usb ports still the problem of 'not detection'
is persisting, one or both of them work sometimes in safe mode.

what shall i do.
