I agree with xema. I just had W98se and Mandrake7.1 on a 30gig HD split in half. I had to wipe it cause I need the HD for another machine. ; )

I have the windows 98 and red hat linux 9 operating systems.
Is it possible for me to partition my 40 gb Harddisk into 2 (20gb each)?, then if i install win 98 on one partition and red hat linux on the other will i get a option when starting the machine like:
1. Win 98
2. Red hat linux
(then i press 1 for win98 etc)
??
So i can boot any os i want at the particular time?
Is this how its done or am i living in a dream world.

Yes it is posible
Use MS Fdisk to create an MS partition of 20 GB, then install win 98
then start the Red Hat installation.
You need to set up LILO, LInux LOader
so you can get the option to start with the OS of your chice.
