Hi, I've got a windows 98 pc with a boot problem. During start up I get 'invalid system disk, replace and press any key'. I used an old HDD with 98 on and it started fine. I've booted with a start up disk and am running scandisk /all /surface. It identified directory corruptions and repaired, or so I believe. Then nothing? The scan disk utility has stopped? I've searched for an answer in the database but haven't found one yet.

I haven't got a 98 cd copy to use, so what next? Any clues?
