Asked by Justinmc in Windows 98 Operating System, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), Outlook Groupware Software
Hey Guys
Hoping that somebody can help me with this, I have exchange 2007 and have some clinet pc's on office 2007 and office 2003 and running windows xp pro service pack 3. I have a vpn setup to the exchange server. The problem Iam having is that some of my users can connect to the vpn and can access all the shared Resources and can even ping the exchange server but for some reason outlook ither does not see the exhange server or it says its connected to the server but the mail, calander ect just does not update. This happens on both 2007 and 2003, now i know the vpn is working because most of the other users work fine with no problems at all. I have checked and double checked the Permissions for those users and they have the exact same permissions as the users that do work. I have unistalled and reinstalled outlook with no luck and i have tried different connections with no luck. The other strange thing is that sometimes outlook will find the exchange server download the mail and as soon as i disconnect and reconnect the problem is back and outlook cant see the server again. Starting to run out of things to try iam considering reformatting and reinstalling the OS on those pc's iam having problems with but i got a feeling its not gonna help.
