Although wordpad was not listed I removed paint and the registry keys for wordpad and then re-installed paint and low and behold wordpad now works!! - Well done

Wordpad has caused an error in MFC42.DLL wordpad will now close.
I was going to follow the answers to previous questions about this error by uninstalling wordpad and then re-installing it.
However wordpad is not listed under Add/Remove programs/Windows SetuP/Accessories. Paint is listed but not wordpad.
How do I uninstall wordpad and re-install it?

1. Go to the Control Panel and open Add/Remove Programs
2. Click the Windows Setup tab, enter the Accessories folder
3. Clear the checkboxes next to Wordpad and Paint, and click OK. If Wordpad is not checked, that is fine. Continue with step 4 below.
4. Click Start->Run and type REGEDIT. Click OK. Backup your registry first.
5. Browse to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
6. Close Regedit and restart your machine
7. Open Add/Remove Programs again, and re-check the boxes next to Wordpad and Paint. Click OK (Your Windows CD will be required)
