Windows ME machine continuously reboots

Trying to solve a problem with an old PC that is running Windows ME.  Machine boots up and allows you to enter applications, etc., but after ~ 5 minutes, machines reboots and starts running scan disk.  Have allowed PC to scan all files, but finds no problems and than boots.  Machine then starts its reboot process once again.
