WINS 1C record problem

I am stuck with a WINS problem.

I have a medium sized network with a number of WINS servers replicating the database.
For a resource domain that I have, the 1C record contains addresses of domain controllers that do not exist anymore, in fact the whole subnet has gone.
How can I remove members of this 1C record without deleting the dynamic mapping from all of my WINS servers?

Any ideas?
Thanks

In WINS manager, select a valid server and go to "active registrations"
Right-click it and select "find by owner"
Select the dead server
delete all of the records it finds (only if you want to)

THEN

Right-click it and select "find by owner"
Select a live WINS server
delete the 1C record of the dead server, first toombstoning the record, taking ownership and replicating deletinon
and again to totally get rid of it

The problem is this single 1C record contains a number addresses of domain controllers in that domain. I do not want to remove the whole 1C record, just one element associated with it.
The 1C record is a special group and contains more than one address, and I have an invalid address within the 1C record.
Initallize Scavenging the Database this might remove record which is Invalid.

No luck with scavenging.

Consider how bad it would be to delete and allow the remaining servers to re-populate the records - if your users normally shutdown and re-start their PCs, this should pose you little or no problem-  If they do not, it still might not cause any trouble.  Do you have working DNS servers to fall back on?  a loss of WINS in this case will not cause you or your users any noticible hit in performance.

This should help a bit:
