I am writing a login script for a mixed domain.
When I use the command
net use j: \\servername\share
on w2000 clients I have no problems, on WNT clients it gives me the error 67: "Network name not found"
I read it can be due to another netbios server, different from a windows server.
Is there a way to solve this problem? I tried also with server IP_addr, with no luck.
In other case, is there a way to map a network connection during boot?
Do you think that using the "use" command in kixtart I will obtain anything better, o will not work in each case?

I can ping server by name and by ip addr.
Doamin servers are mixed, i.e. you can login in NT or w2000. The server where the share folders are mapped is a w2k.
NT clients can connect to any server of my network, included the server indicated. Only net use does not work to map, only for WNT clients I have problems.
I have DNS and WINS servers, and the NETBIOS protocol is activated
This is the case I'd solved before.
Make sure you've put your script in the right place in WinNT and the script has been saved a bat extionsion and folder you've made has been share. If you something here is wrong then it will appear something error.
The script in WinNT can be stored in Winnt\System32\Repl\Import

From NT, can you ping the server by name? How about by IP address? What protocols do you use on the server in question (TCPIP, Netbeui, IPX?) ? Is the server NT, 2000, 2003? Do you have DNS, WINS? Can your NT clients connect to any Server on your network?
