well it looks like you are right.... DVD video requires....... DirectX higier than 6(winNT)
DVD date works on NT... but this is not what i'm after

NT4 sp6 & DVD-burner
Specs:
PII 300 Win NT4.0 sp6 workstation
mother board Abit LX6
SCSI Adaptec AHA-2940 Ultra/Ultra W . BIOS v1.25
3 times SCSI HD 9GB (NTFS partitions)
Pioneer SCSI CD
HP8100 CD burner
Anybody can suggest DVD-burner name & model which works with
above NT4 workstation..?
Well..... I can out put my avi movie to a tape, but these days DVD-video is preferred.
It doesn't have to be the top speed burner.....hahaha........ as long I can....
burn DVD-videos from hard drive. I'm not going to capture to DVD video
(so I hope PII 300 would be ok )
nor play it on this machine.
I wonder if I can buy even the older model of burner for winNT ???
Any experts on NT know any model like that ???
