sound card driver installation

Hi ,
I have windows nt 4.0 and sp6.
I have sound blaster CT4170 card. I have downloaded the drivers from internet.
Now when I try to install them using the process of legacy drivers
I get the message"
the port is in use by some another part of the system"

Plz help me installing the sound card drivers"

Which port IRQ ?

1. Shutdown system.
2. Unplug the sound card from mother board if it is not built-in sound card.
3. restart system.
4. again shutdown, plug the sound card and then restart.

It will ask you to for the sound card drivers, now try !!!
