I agree with GenEric here. WinZip is gone way to hungry and not just in the monetary cost area. I've dumped it across my network and gone a combination of EasyZip for non-techies and 7Zip for techies. We do have a couple of installs of WinZip but they are legacy. I doubt you are doing yourself any favours if you roll out $3000 worth of software when you could have rolled out a zero-cost solution.

Why don't you just go to SourceForge.net and check for other gunzip programs that are completely free.
WinZip has gotten as greedy and as ignorant of the NT4 Servers and workstations that are the basis of XP. I don't know why they're so anti-XP Version 4.0!
WinZip 9.0 works though, but 500 machines? You should be looking to cut costs for the boss and find some realiable software that isn't going to force extortion on you.
I think someone wants you to buy 500 XP boxes and XP server so that they can obsolete your network again in three years.
