I need to license and roll out WinZip across 500 Windows NT4.0 PCs. However, I have been told that WinZip 10 does not run on Windows NT Workstation 4.0. Does anyone know what is the most recent version of WinZip that runs, flawlessly, on NT4?

I agree with GenEric here. WinZip is gone way to hungry and not just in the monetary cost area. I've dumped it across my network and gone a combination of EasyZip for non-techies and 7Zip for techies. We do have a couple of installs of WinZip but they are legacy. I doubt you are doing yourself any favours if you roll out $3000 worth of software when you could have rolled out a zero-cost solution.
Which is why I keep older copies. By the way, nothing runs flawlessly, anywhere!

SoundBlaster and Creative Labs/Ensoniq have done the same thing to me! Disallowed me from configuring my sound cards [in a recording studio no less!], but I refuse to buy XP Server software and the only salute I have for Creative is an Italian salute.
Winzip has sort of become like Creative "You will buy Microsoft's latest version and replace all of your machines and software or else!"
Well, I can't justify a million dollars every year in new hardware and software just to satisfy some frog.
So, I have taken to going to SourceForge all the time now to use Linux to get Windows working.
Now to get SoundBlaster to work . . . with a real sound system from AMEK.

Why don't you just go to SourceForge.net and check for other gunzip programs that are completely free.
WinZip has gotten as greedy and as ignorant of the NT4 Servers and workstations that are the basis of XP. I don't know why they're so anti-XP Version 4.0!
WinZip 9.0 works though, but 500 machines? You should be looking to cut costs for the boss and find some realiable software that isn't going to force extortion on you.
I think someone wants you to buy 500 XP boxes and XP server so that they can obsolete your network again in three years.
