SQL 2005 Reporting service error
hello there,
i am trying to setup sql server reporting service 2005 on my computer.while installing sql server 2005 i did not have iis installed on my computer.then when i try to configure rs i get this error
"No report server were found on the specified machine
Details : Invalid namespace"
now i have installed iis,but still i get this error.
please help

i reinstalled sql server.now when i go to In the Report service configuration manager I get this errors:
Pushing Initialization button gives the message: There was an error while switching panels. The most likely cause is an error retriewing WMI properties. the exeception details are: the report server cannot open a connection to the report server database. a connection to the db is required for all requests and processing.

I have exactly the same issue and only by chance came across this:
"64-bit ASP.Net is Registered. Required 32-bit ASP.Net to install Microsoft Reporting Services 2005(32-bit)."
Turns out that this is a fairly common issue but it is not revealed by searching on the error message that started this thread. You have instead to search for the error message I've given above:
