XML File Record strip help

I receive XML files from our customer that I need to autmatically strip the first record off before the file is used in our system....

What is the best way to do this as well as how do yo do this?

It depends on the Xml file and the DBMS you are using.

My solutiion is that I created a Macro is Vedit to do the stripping that is called from the command line.
