How can I eliminate an icon in my deskto?

Dear Sirs:
My problem is that I can not eliminate an icon named "Shredder" from my desktop because when I try to eliminate it it only appears "open" and "create a direct access"
I coment that I went to "Proof of failure" and happened the same, appears de same messages.
Please, if possible someone help me to solve the problem
