Windows 7, Mac Lion and epson cx7400 printer

I have a Windows 7 PC; a physical usb connection exists between this and the epson CX7400 printer. I also have a Macbook Pro running Lion. The Windows PC and the Macbook Pro are connected by bluetooth - I can see PC files on the Macbook and the Macbook files on the PC and I can transfer files back and forth.

Is there anyway I can print on the epson cx7400 from the Macbook (Note that these two have no  physical connection and no blue tooth connection; the epson printer is an older model and has neither bluetooth or wifi capability)using the Macbook's bluetooth connection the PC?

Thanks  for your help.

Open the Printer on the Windows 7 machine (Devices and Printers) and share the printer. Once shared you would need the Epson driver for your MAC installed on the MAC and see if it will see the shared printer.

If it has an ethernet card, you can give it an IP address and forget sharing. Just install the driver and point to the network.

If not, you can get a small print server (HP JetDirect 170X) and use that for networking.

So there are some options if sharing does not work out.

ASKER

Does not solve problem.

Epson has no network card; just USB to PC.

Blue tooth between MAC and Pc

It is a solution but I should have been more clear that I was hoping for a software solution, not a solution that needed purchase of hardware. Any way I am sure that the proposed solution would work - Thanks.
Thank you. I was pleased to help, and I think you may find print servers to be better and more useful over the long run. Thanks again. .... Thinkpads_User
