Send output of ping to txt file

Hi
i need to send the results of pinging an ip address to a text file. I am writing a app that will ping an address. The dos box must close automatically when it is done, i know u can write the results to a file but cannot remeber the parameters

Hi Craig,

You need to create a batch file and place in it:-

ping "PC/IP address" > "File to pipe to"
