Hi knightboy,
there are password jumpers on the motherboard,
but they are for the BIOS password.
Since your problem is with the windows password,
you need to follow war1's advice.
It's not hard:
If you can't cancel the logon,
hit f8 during boot to get a boot menu.
Select safe mode, find *.pwl and delete, reboot.
Alternativly, select command prompt
type cd c:\windows, type del *.pwl, reboot
Cheers, Bjorn
Boot up and look at the user name on the login screen.
At bootup keep hitting F5 until you get the windows command C:\> prompt. Then type this:
rename C:\WINDOWS\user.pwl C:\WINDOWS\user.xxx
Replace user with the username, e.g. if it was knightboy:
rename C:\WINDOWS\knightboy.pwl C:\WINDOWS\knightboy.xxx

Greetings, knightboy!
Do a search for *.pwl files and rename them. This get rid of Windows logon password. Next time you boot up, hit ESC and you should be able to get to the Desktop.
Best wishes, war1
