i have a pentium mmx 233 mboard with award bios 4.3 gb maxtor hard dr with usdrive 32 speed cd rom : my problem is : after i fdisk the drive and format it (format c /s) i get an error message it says:this version of microsoft scandisk will only work with ms-dos ver 5.0 and later. setup found a compressed volume or a disk cache utility on your pc. quit setup and check your compressed volume with your disk compression software or remove the disk cache utility then run setup again or press esc to continue after i continue i get to the setup screen and then i cant get no further than the licence agreement . i get the setup detection error: error su-0013 setup could not create files on your startup drive and cannot setup windows.if u have hpfs or windowsnt file system u must create an ms-dos boot partition . i thought i did that when i fdisk the drive . any help on this would be greatly apprieciated. btw i enabled (lba) or large disk support for fat32.....thanks jjrison@aol.com
