Attempting to install Windows Server 2003 x64 on my Dell PowerEdge 1950. I'd like to use my unattended install files to install however, right now I'm having driver issues.
Process:
1) Modified the TXTSETUP.SIF for the LSI_SAS driver required
2) Included the drivers as LSI_SAS.SY_ cab file in AMD64 directory
3) Created a bootable CD
4) Boot 1950 from my CD and even through in the initial status bar at I get a message: "Loading Dell SAS ...." Windows Text Mode install fails reporting it could not detect any hard disks.
When I build the machine using the Dell OpenManage software, everything works great. What else do I need to do to include the driver correctly on my CD? I'd really like to be able to use my unattended installation instead of having to deal with the OpenManage stuff.
