How do i achieve a DUAL BOOT (xp pro32 and xp64) with BOOT-IT NG ?

I decided to post this new question regarding GARYCASE recommendation in this 3rd party software. (I hope he can comment here also) (Is interesting to me beacuse he mentioned that this way, the 2 OS will be isolated from each other, and some other advantages...)

My other question, regarding this issue of DUAL BOOT is in this link:
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23485585/DUAL-BOOT-XP-64-SP2-and-XP-Pro-SP2.html

Please if you can take a look at it and also comment, will be much appreciated...

NOW , for this question, i want to try the option that garycase recommended, which is using BOOT-it, from terabyte , this link:  http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/downloads/bootitng.pdf

I want to , but i started reading the manual on that link and to be honest, it haunted me, so many procedures and also i did not understood a lot of things.... but perhaps they are not all directed to my situation.  So if possible, could you give me a better and smaller explanation of the procedures that i should do in order to have a DUAL BOOT with BOOT-it?

I have 2 computers to do this (DELL laptop XPS m1710, and DELL Precision 470), both support 64 bit OS, the main difference is that one has only 1 HDD (80 gig -laptop) and the other has 2 HDD (160 Gb and 250 gb) Both have already XP PRO SP2 32 bit installed, with all my software and info (there is still good space available)  But if you consider that is better to start from scratch and format and reinstall XP 32 i will.   One important thing maybe, is that None of them have a FLOPPY Drive..., only optical drives (CDRW, and DVDRW)

Ok, hope you can give me a hand on this. thanks.

... Note:  Once you have that screen; just remove the Boot-It CD and then click on Reboot to boot your system normally :-)

Hi  Gary case and LeeTutor, (thanks for the link by the way,)and of course Garycase for guiding me to start this. Unfortunately yesterday the computer that i was going to install Xp64 broke down..(somehow a user got it infected with something called Antispycheck.... and is kind of nasty, as soon as windows starts it shuts down.. even in safe mode... so i am trying to fix it, and sicne probably will take me sometime, i will pospone the Dual boot installation until the weekend....

I hope i can contact you again during the weekend to follow this procedures.

thanks
Just post when you can continue.   You may want to consider just wiping the drive and installing from scratch => that's the best way to ensure you have TOTALLY eradicated any infections.   If you decide to do that, just wipe the drive [to thoroughly do so you could use DBAN]; then install Boot-It; and then install the OS's.

... by the way, this is a perfect example of the power of Boot-It.   If you were using Boot-It and kept images of the installed, OS's, it would be a ten-minute restore to recover from the infection :-)
Yes you are correct! I wish i believed you sooner!! jeje.. just a couple of days might have done it...

i'll keep posting when i take again this issue
Thanks guys for your help. I have not being able to do the Dual boot, since nothing but trouble has happened to me, 2 of my 4 computers died on me!  One a virus, and other soem hardware problem... so I thinlk is better i close this question, and as soon as I manage to find some tiem to try the Dual Boot, I will Start a new Question on this same subject.

Thans a lot.
I have closed the question, because before i tried this solutions 2 computers died on me, so i have been unable to install the dual boot, and follow garycase and leetutor advise.   SO as soon as i find the time and get this computers back to life, i will post again and if i need more help i will start a new question.

Thanks Garycase, thanks leetutor.
No problem.   When you're ready, just start with a clean hard drive; have a copy of Boot-It handy (so you can boot to the screen above); and post your new question.   Easy to finish it from there.
