Watchguard VPN on Windows 7

trying to install watchguard ssl vpn on windows 7 rtm. installs without error. vpn client starts but it appears the associated tap driver is not installed. ran installer in compatibility mode withg same result. any suggestions on how to get the tap driver installed?

It's not officially supported, but there is well known workaround for both Windows 7 and 64-bit versions of Vista.  You need to download the OpenVPN client and install the TAP driver only from that install.  During the install of the WatchGuard SSL client, uncheck the TAP driver.  I've used this on both Windows 7 64-bit and Vista 64-bit with no problems.

I actually installed version 11 (for Vista) on windows 7 64 bit.
Than i ran the application in Vista (no service packs) compatibility mode and worked without the OpenVPN.
Tried before with Open VPN and worked as well.

Version 10.2.12 of the client now officially supports Windows 7 and 64-bit environments.  I've been using it without issue.
