To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. I googled this and didn't come up with a solution. One of my users just got a laptop with Windows 7 Pro on it. I think the IT folks at the other entity in our consortium must have put it on for him. I joined it to our domain and now I see that if one wants to log on as someone other than the last user, one must click the "switch user" button then specify that user. One must also specify the domain like this administrator\LocalMachine
Name or user\domain. This annoying to me as the administrator and I think will be inconvenient for the user. Is it possible to set Windows 7 Pro to use the XP style logon dialog which has three fields, one for user name, one for password and one for domain (with the computer name in the domain drop-down along with the domains available)?
