Have it shared out, just as I did the old Lexmark, but when I try to connect to it from my Win7 device, I get
operation failed with error 0x00000002
Any ideas?

Try installing a windows 7 driver for the printer on the Win7 machine - seems like it cannit use the Vista Driver
