Browse All TopicsHello,
I'm migrating from windows xp pro to w7 home premium.
Right now I'm running w7 enterprise trial.
My question is, is there now a security tab enabled to change file permissions. I have a few folders where I want to set the readonly permissions for standard users. And a few folders on an external harddisk were certain users (my kids) should get no hands on.
Changing permissions on w7 pro... ultimate is easy, but how can this be done on a home premium edition. Is there still just calcs and boot into safemode?

Currently there is (as far as I know) no solution to add the security tab in the home-editions of Win7.
