I am looking for a command syntax or utility that will delete all of the files within a folder and all of the subfolders without deleting any of the files in these folders and subfolders
I am looking for a command syntax or utility that will delete all of the files within a folder and all of the subfolders without deleting any of the files in these folders and subfolders.
I need to be able to quickly delete all files from within a folder and from within that folder's subfolders but I need to preserve the folders (keep the folders from being deleted).

the /s switch will cause the command to run through the current folder
and all its sub folders.
del /s c:\master\*.bak
the /q switch will "quiet" the command, you will not see its actions or
verbose asking for confirmation.
del /s /q c:\master\*.bak
Use the @Echo off if you want to see none of the commands:
