Password Crack Windows 7

I have a windows 7 computer (not on a domain) with a user who forgot her PSW.
I have tried using [Admin Edit]. It seems like it does it until you reboot and try to log in.  I also tried it for the Administrator account, it to didn't work.  I also tried to change the password.  that two didn't work.  I unlocked the account and then reset the password - no glory.

I also tried Unltimate Boot CD which blue screens on me (but I'm not sure if there's even a tool on there)

Is there another tool out there or another way to do it?

Check out this article, it has a few solutions:

M-Manakhly's solution should definitely work.  To elaborate a bit more, burn the Linux ISO to disc and boot up from it.  Here is a basic tutorial on how to use it:

pogostick it the utility I was using.  But it's not resetting or changing the password even though it says it has.  I unlocked the account first too, and then reset the password - nothing.  Then I just reset the password - nothing. :(

Your disk worked.  Thanks for the tip.
By any chance, did you try the Linux tool that M-Manakhly suggested in the very first reply?  I'm just curious because I have never known it to not work on a Windows 7 machine and wanted to ensure that is hasn't started encountering technical roadblocks.
@Run5k,
Great question - I have never known Petter Nordahl's disks to not work - and I've been using them since the NT days.

I can personally verify for you that they work on all 32 Bit versions of Windows 7 (at least on my systems).
@Younghv,
And I can testify that the utility works consistently on all 64-bit versions of Windows 7, as well.  The only time I have seen an instance where people thought that it didn't work was if they inadvertently pressed Enter on this screen so that the changes weren't completed:
