Forgot my password on Windows 7

I haven't used my Windows 7 desktop for a while and now I forgot which password I used. I only created one account that is the admin account and that's the password I forgot. What can I do to reset the password?

I do not have a password reset disk. Can anyone help?

Just for future reference, please remember that the built-in Administrator account on a Windows 7 machine is disabled by default:

Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows 7

Run5k, in order to do that I actually need to be able to get in, which I cannot do for the specified reason:)

ErikCamacho, I do not see how those tables help me solve anything
YZlat,

You can actually download the ISO image file from any other computer, burn it to disc and perform the described procedure.
Just as a quick addendum, I have been using Petter Nordahl-Hagen's Offline NT Password & Registry Editor to help people with their forgotten Windows passwords for over ten years.  It's free, it's relatively simple (following the tutorial linked above), and unless the hard drive has actually been encrypted it has worked every time!  Definitely a great little tool to keep on hand for future reference.

how do I boot from a CD? Will simply inserting a CD and then powering up the machine work?
When you reboot your machine, there should be an option on the screen to press a certain "Function" key (F2, F10, etc.) to enter the bios, system setup, and/or boot menu.  If it's the boot menu, normally that allows you to select which device to boot from as a one-time occasion.  On the other hand, the bios or system setup will allow you delve into the computers settings to modify your overall boot order device priority.  If so, ensure that your CD/DVD drive is placed ahead of the hard drive in the boot sequence.  Reboot with the CD in the optical drive tray, and you're all set!
