Network infrastructure for network OS installation

Hi;

I want to install windows 7 on at least 20 computers on a network simultaneously. What network infrastructure is required to facilitate this?

Thank you in advance.

As far as I understood you don't want to boot of windows from the network, so their c:-drive resides on some sort of SAN. You just want to do a local installation of windows over the network that should run simultanesly, right? If this is so, the way would be to setup one PC as needed, sysprep the system and make an image. For rolling out this image at the same time to all computers, you need to have an imageprogram that supports multicast. I know that there is a version of Norton Ghost, that has a multicast-server. This way the server is sending out the image only once and all PCs will get the image at the same time. Networkwise you'll only need a switch where all PCs are connected and configured to the same network. You'll have to boot the PCs with a special boot-cd, that acts as ghost-client.
