DFS issue, losing redirection intermitently.

i came across a weird issue on DFS redirection. Our network consist of multiple location replicating to a central datacenter. Not sure how to explain since we just started to use this feature recently... seems that the client lose the namespace.

==> the issue is only on one client so far, no one else raised the issue. Issue is ongoing for 2 week now.
==> user get only partial view of the share (1 folder our of the whole directory)
  - not access issue, verified over and out
==> when i login with my ID on the same computer, i get 'access deny' (i use a domain admin account).

i installed the DFSUTIL.EXE so a can troubleshoot, here is the output:

When the issue occur, the first entry is missing.

Here is what i tried so far:

- rejoin to the domain --> NoGo!
- system restore --> GoGo!
- Connect to VPN --> Go! but issue come back when rebooting and is intermitant
- used DFSUTIL.EXE to clear cache (/pktflush) --> NoGo

when the issue is present, the user can browse to the shares using the \\SERVER\DATA\


It is weird that after a while, the issue resolve itself but always come back. Not sure if this is relevant but user told me that the issue seems to occur more often when connection to an Access DB.

I ran out of idear and would like to see if anyone ran into this issue.
