Printer Queue show "printing", but nothing comes out on the printer
Hi,
I have a Canon iR2022/2025/2030 PCL6 Copier with static IP address of 192.168.1.40.
I have 6 Computers in the office and they all print fine to this printer.
But one of six PCs (Windows 7 64bit) fails to print. When I print, I see the messages "spooling ... Printing ... Deleting", but nothing is printed on the copier.
I can access Canon iR2022/2025/2030 PCL6 copier via web interface and this computer used to print to the copier, but it stopped prining all of sudden.
I went to Services.msc and stoped and started Print Spooler, but made no difference.
Thanks for your help.

I am going to call the copier vendor tech support to see if they recommend specific printer driver. Since it was working before, I suspect that maybe windows updates have screwed things up.

@hdhondt,
When I print, I see the messages "spooling ... Printing ... Deleting", but nothing is printed.
I will call the copier vendor for tech support tomorrow morning. I will keep you posted.

I asked about messages on the printer, not on the PC. Most printers display a message, or a light is flashing, while it is receiving data.

oh, I did not check. I will ask users for that sometime today.
I will also talk to the copier vendor. I remember that they recommended a specific driver last time,

Sorry for the delay.
I talked to the copier vendor, downloaded a recommended driver from the vendor's website, and it started working.
Thank you for your help.

The printer driver from the manufacturer's website did not work. I had to download the driver from the printer vendor's website.

I tried that before posting this question. It did not work then. I tried it again after your posing and it did not work
@AdrienneSperber
I downloaded PCL5 drive and installed it, but still fails to print.
