Software installation problem on Window 7

When I try to install a legacy application on Window 7, it pops up with the following error:

"The installer is unable to run in graphical mode. Try running the installer with teh -console or -silent flag"

Is there a workaround or fix to this issue ?

Service Manager client 7.11 on Window 7. It works fine on Window XP.
Try:

(1) Right click the <program-you-are-installing> installer file, choose Properties and under the “Compatibility” tab  uncheck the option ” Run this program in compatibility mode for :……“.

(2) Next in the same window and same “Compatibility“, click on  the button “Show settings for all users“.

(3)  In the Window that popups, disable/uncheck the option ” Run this program in compatibility mode for :…… “.

(4) Click ok .

These two settings "Run this program in compatibility mode for :……" have been disabled but it doesn't help.

Okay, try:

The easiest solution: Do a system restore (if you have a restore point).

Seem like the legecy application can only install on Window XP, not Window 7...

Try to look for a workaround solution to make it work under Window 7 ...
