How to Purchase and Download Windows 8 Pro for Parallels 8 on Mac
I can't seem to find a way to purchase and download Windows 8 Pro for Parallels.
When I go to the Microsoft site to purchase, the link just turns into an .exe file to download which of course I can't open until I have Windows.
What's interesting is that Parallels 8 use to provide a full installation of the Windows 8 preview and it worked great. Parallels is also still allowing users to download Chromium, Ubuntu, and Android but the Windows 8 option has been completely removed.

Might seem odd, but why not install some windows you have and get the iso from the upgrade advisor .exe from inside the vm? [Official Microsoft links to win8 ISOs that I know are only enterprise versions.]

I don't have a Windows disc nor a previous version of Windows.
You can download free trials of win7 and win8 enterprise - those come as isos. Install those in parallels, and buy and download the iso for the win8 version you are trying to purchase from there - done. If that's too complicated for you, please ask a friend with windows to help you out. If not, you would have to use torrents.
