I have a new windows 8 computer that keeps dropping the print spooler service. Here is what I have done so far.<br />

I stopped the print spooler service but printers still show.<br />
I deleted all printers manually and windows 8 keeps recreating them. (I cannot see the properties of the printers).<br />
I deleted all the printers and driver under printmanagement.msc<br />
restarted the computer<br />
performed a system restore<br />
scanned for viruses/malware - nothing found<br />
checked group policies - nothing there<br />
I ran sfc /scannow<br />
I ran chkdsk c: /f/r<br />
<br />
NO LUCK.<br />
