Content Filtering on Windows Mobile

When you use a Blackberry server all traffic on the Blackberry is routed thru your companies network. This includes internet browsing. If you have restricted sites with your content filter your Blackberry device will not be allowed to access them as well. Do you know if this can be done with a Windows Mobile device? Maybe set it up to use a proxy server?

I am talking about content filtering for web browsing. When you use the browser on our Blackberry the traffic comes thru our network. So if we block access to a website on our network, the Blackberry is blocked also. Is this possible with Windows mobile?

No there is no content. Unless like you said where you setup your connection via proxy or the if you are surfing wireless and  the router has a filter. The same holds true if your connection is coming via server.

I might try the proxy and see how that works. I know with our Blackberry devices all internet traffic goes thru our Blackberry server and then thru our content filter before being passed back to the Blackberry device. I was just hoping to have the same control for our Windows Mobile devies. I might be able to report back if the proxy works, but it will take a while to get it set up so I may not be able to. Thanks for the info.
