How to switch to USB 2.0 ?

My PocketPC device (HTC Tilt aka Kaiser aka TyTN II) does not want to be connected via USB 2. It is always connected as a slow USB 1.0 device. A digital camera connects as USB 2.0 on the same PC's port.
I have tried different cables and same thing occurs on another PC.
