I have 5 users who synch their mobile devices with my exchange 2003 server. (4x Palm Treo 750's & 1 iPhone). All have the secure certificate installed.
One of the Palm Treo's is now being assigned to another user, so I have factory reset the device, installed the certificate and configured it to that user. However, when I try to sync the device it will not sync. I get the following message on the device:
Your account in Microsoft Exchange Server Does not have permission to synchronise with your current settings. Contact the Exchange Admin, Support Code: 0x85010004.
On the exchange server logs I get:
Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [myserver.co.uk] User: [user@mydomain.co.uk] HTTP status code: [409]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox Server is working correctly.
My guess is that it's something to do with this specific user, but I have compared their AD settings with those who can sync. This device has previously been used by 2 other people and when changing it to someone else I have simply carried out the above.
