Windows Mobile ActiveSync Pin Lock Out

Hello,

Some one at work gave their Treo to their kid and it got the PIN wrong lots of times.  Now she's locked out.  I can see the device in Exchange 2007 management console but there is no recovery password displayed.  I can see the recovery password for other devices so I know it is set up right.  I think her phone is not syncing.  Is there a way to make it sync without being able to get past the PIN?  Then I can reset the PIN without having to do a hard reset.
