How to automatically update WinMo contact field during save

I need a way to automatically flag a contact in WinMo 6.1/6.5 whenever it is added or modified.  The way I can think to do that is to add an X to one of the fields I do not use.

How can I do that?

My objective is to have a way to identify those contacts in Outlook that have been updated during a synch with my mobile device.
