The Solution Rating System
|
|
| With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site. If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support. Thank you! |

Asked by qaautomation in Windows Mobile (Pocket PC / Win CE) Operating Systems, Exchange Email Server, Cellular Phones & Carriers
Hi,
I just purchased an HTC Imagio smartphone yesterday and so far it has been great, however I'm running into an issue using Microsoft's Outlook Mobile//Active Sync on Windows Mobile 6.5.
I have a server running Exchange 2007. Those of you familiar with Exchange Server know that you can have multiple email addresses (aliases) per email account with one email address being your default email address or the address in which mail originates from. Well, I have a few different email address all linked to this same email account on Exchange. When I set up my email on my phone, I entered my default email address for my exchange email account, Active Sync synced up with my Exchange Server and everything is working great, however, when I create a new email message on my phone or view my email account in Mobile Outlook, the email address that is displayed is not my default email address for my exchange email account but yet a secondary email address.
I didn't type this address in at all so the only way Mobile Outlook knows about it is by syncing up with my Exchange Sever. My question is, why is it not using my default email address for my exchange email account? When I send an email form my phone it says the "from" email address is one of my secondary email addresses, but when the email is received by the recipient, the "from" email address is actually my default email address on my exchange email account. So why isn't Mobile Outlook using my default address or allowing me to set this? I was looking for a drop down in the from email address box however nothing but this secondary account.
Anybody seen this?
